Exploring our brain and thoughts

The Centre de recherche Université Laval Robert Giffard (CRULRG), whose mission is to increase our understanding of normal and diseased nerve and brain cells, is proud to be associated with Human Copyright, an exhibition on human thinking.

Starting in January 2010, the Musée de la civilisation will present a series of lectures on the brain and thought. Recognized for their cutting-edge research in their respective fields, our specialists will share their knowledge and discoveries through four interactive lectures:
  • History of the Brain: 30,000 Years of Thinking, with Dr. André Parent

  • 100 Billion Neurons: A Fantastic Voyage to the Centre of the Brain, with Dr Paul De Koninck

  • Spotlight on the Brain: A Matter of Rhythm and Mood, with Dr. Marc Hébert

  • Disordered Thinking in Children: When Research Gives a Glimmer of Hope to Parents, with Dr. Michel Maziade

Do not miss this opportunity to see the brain in action!
