Biscuits Leclerc has always been a family business. In 1915 Donat Leclerc, François' son, joined the company and became its president in 1938. The same year he was joined by his brother Albini. Donat's son Jean-Robert became the president in 1971 and modernized and expanded Biscuits Leclerc. Today his daughters Line and Nicole and his sons Jean, Jacques, and Denis each run a Leclerc factory, and two of his granddaughters work at Musée L'Aventure Leclerc. In all five generations have worked in the company business over the last century!
Among the numerous cookie makers that appeared in Québec in the first decades of the 20th century, Biscuits Leclerc is the only that is still entirely Québec-owned.
