French America Reference centre

Specialized staff is assigned to the records section to inform and assist researchers in their projects. Reprography and photographic/digital reproduction services are available.

Located on the fourth floor of the Musée de l'Amérique française, the centre is open Tuesdays to Thursdays from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Please note that it is closed in July.

The publications produced by the Musée de la civilisation are available at the Boutiques of the Museological Complex.

Boutiques of the Complex

The Museum complex houses three boutiques filled with a wide selection of souvenirs and gift ideas.

The visitor will find numerous selected items in keeping with the exhibition themes or other curiosities. Among others, there are pieces of jewellery and crafts imported from the world over, objects bearing the Museum’s signature, publications about civilization in general, CDs produced especially for Museum activities context, games, original and amusing artefacts, books and jewellery designed with children in mind, and much more!

The boutiques are located at the Musée de la civilisation, the Musée de l’Amérique française and the Centre d'interprétation de Place-Royale respectively.
