3.4.7 Transport
Transport consists of moving the ore concentrate to the processing plant.
For short distances, a truck is ideal. However, if a large quantity of concentrate must be transported, the best mode of transport is a train.

If the mine is near a river, lake or the sea, transport by boat is a possibility. Large distances can be covered at a lower cost.

Often, a combination of means of transport is used. Transport is time-consuming and expensive, but is the only way to bring the ore concentrate to the processing plant.
