Québec
A candle holder made of metal and iron sheets, comprising a socket
in the centre of a plate with a handle.

Lights came to the Séminaire de Québec
in 1910. At the time, electricity was only available in certain
rooms, including the library and the priests’ residence. The
classrooms, dormitory and corridors were lit with candles and oil
lamps until 1930.
