Québec City's firefighters are true heroes, who face danger and risk their lives to protect their fellow citizens. Their presence in every part of the city is reassuring, and their courageous acts inspire both young and old.

This exhibition is accessible free of charge.

Québec City has been hit by many fires since its foundation. Gradually, its brave firefighters have attained full professional status. Today, the men and women who proudly wear the insignia of Service de protection contre l'incendie de la Ville de Québec do much more than put fires out. They play an essential role in Québec City's community by monitoring the citizens' safety.
