TD present Love Me Gender

Visage d'une personne aux cheveux courts avec un filtre passant du bleu au rose.

Delve into the human experience and its great diversity by exploring the many facets of gender identity. See how gender identity in Quebec and elsewhere has changed over time and evolved across cultures.

Although trans, non-binary and two-spirited people are increasingly visible, gender-based violence persists, despite the efforts of trans communities to gain public recognition of their identities and rights.

With this exhibition, the Musée seeks to play a role in these important discussions by demystifying and celebrating the plurality of gender identities.

Love Me Gender, an exhibition designed and produced by the Musée de la civilisation, presented by Groupe Banque TD with the collaboration of Ubisoft Québec.

Partenaires

Sex, gender expression, gender identity: what do they all mean? What exactly does the acronym LGBTQIA2S+ stand for? What about the term queer? Is it a bad thing to misgender someone? These are a few of the questions we hope to answer in Love Me Gender:The Guide.

Here, you’ll find a ton of definitions for terms and concepts related to gender identities, a list of organizations that you can turn to for support or to deepen your learning.
