Visite de groupe
Choosing and booking an activity
For health reasons required by Quebec public health, we cannot accommodate groups.
The first step in planning a visit to Musée de la civilisation is determining what type of visit interests you: an activity led by guide-interpreter (guided tour, special activity) or a self-guided tour. Then you book by phone or e-mail (see contact information below). Next you'll receive a letter confirming your booking, which will contain information and instructions designed to ensure the quality and success of your visit.
Visits available
How the day unfolds with an activity led by a guide-interpreter
When you arrive at Musée de la civilisation, go to the Group Entrance; a guide-interpreter will wait for you there. The guide will accompany you throughout your visit. For other sites in the museum complex, go to the main entrance.
After the arrival formalities are completed, the activity can begin. The guide-interpreter will then lead the group to the place that was booked.
How the day unfolds with a self-guided visit
When you arrive with your group for a self-guided tour of the museum, go to the reception counter to take care of formalities. The clerk will give you the museum program and the documentation you'll need for your visit, and will also show you where the service areas are.
