Free admission
On the first Sunday of each month, access to the Museum is free for residents of Quebec upon presentation of proof of residence. Non-residents will have to pay the regular rate on site. No reservation necessary for this day. First come, first served. Some exhibitions have limited capacities, waiting is to be expected.

By bus
The bus, a great way to get to the museum! Consult the schedules for circuit 1 and 11 du RTC, as well as the red buses of the Tours du Vieux-Québec.

On foot
Down Côte de la Montagne from upper town. On the Quebec City-Lévis ferry from the south shore. Along Rue Saint-Pierre from the Old Port.

By car 
Along Boulevard Champlain via Rue Saint-Paul, Rue Saint-André or Rue Dalhousie. There are several paid parking lots in the surrounding streets.. Consult the list.
