Universal Accessibility

Accessibility for all

Improving the quality of life and the quality of visits to our museum for people with disabilities—whether they are customers, partners or employees—has always been a concern for the Musée de la civilisation. The Musée aims to eliminate or minimize barriers with the goal of ensuring a fair, equitable, respectful and safe environment for everyone.

Support measures

Individuals

Anyone living with a physical or intellectual disability can visit the Musée with their support person for free, regardless of their disability or origin. Either go directly to the Musée’s ticket office during opening hours or call 418-643-2158.

Officially recognized groups and organizations

Any volunteer-based or non-profit group from the community can benefit from free admission. However, a representative must apply for accreditation to ensure that the group’s mission is consistent with Musée’s policy.
